在現今對於科技的需求中,GPS導航早已成為不可或缺的產品,但導航發展到至今還是無法解決判斷垂直定位的問題,特別是當使用者處於高架橋附近時,常常會出現判斷錯誤而增加使用者心理上的緊張感。但隨著通訊技術及感測器的發展進步,我們發現裝有氣壓感測器的高階智慧型手機有望能解決此問題。本篇論文中,我們選擇使用市售的智慧型手機來測試氣壓感測器在不同的實際路段的表現,經由實驗的結果,可以得知使用智慧型手機上的氣壓感測器來解決上述問題是可行的。
The GPS navigators nowadays still have the unsolving problem in determining the vertical location especially while locating around an overpass. It often appears misjudge, and causes divers feel nervous. With the development of communications and sensors technology, high-end smartphones are equipped with barometers which is promising to solve the problem. In this thesis, we try to use the off-the-shelf smartphones to test the performance of on-board barometers in different real road scenarios. Through the experiments, the results show the feasibility of solving the problem by using barometers on smartphones.
