本研究目的在於深入了解諮商心理師運用同理的方式。本研究將同理分成兩階段,分別是「諮商師對個案的狀態進行了解」,以及「諮商師向個案傳達對他狀態的了解」,研究者意圖研究諮商師在這兩個部分如何進行同理。本研究將探索的重點放諮商師運用同理的幾個面向,包括:諮商師進行同理時實際執行的處遇、諮商師在同理過程中的考量與調整,以及諮商師學派取向與其運用同理方式之間的關聯。本研究採用質性研究的形式,採用詮釋學為研究方法,並運用內容分析法進行歸納,忠實還原「諮商師運用同理的狀況」。本研究最後歸納出七種「諮商師了解個案的方式」、六種「諮商師了解個案過程中的考量與調整」、十種「諮商師表達同理的方式」、八種「諮商師表達同理過程中的考量與調整」,以及兩種「同理方式與學派取向的關聯」,使得我們可以透過實際的例子,具體且清晰地認識到「同理」在實務場域中被運用的情形;同時,研究者也將研究結果與文獻內容進行比較,呈現出兩者之間相似與相異的地方,拓展我們對於「同理方法」的視野。
The purpose of this research is to dig deeper into the use of the empathic method of counselling psychologists. Researcher divided the empathic process into two stages; “to understand the client’s conditions” and “to communicate this understanding with clients”. Researcher tried to explore counselling psychologists how to do empathy in the two stages. This research also focused on three ways to understand the empathic method comprehensively; it included“the actual intervention process”, “the consideration and redirection of intervention”, and “the association between different perspectives of treatment and empathic methods”. This research belongs to qualitative research. Researcher used hermeneutics’ method and “category-content” analysis method to analyze data, in order to make the results of the research reliably. Finally, the researcher found out seven methods of understanding clients’ conditions, six considerations and redirections of understanding clients’ conditions, ten methods of communicating understanding with clients, eight considerations and redirections of communicating understanding with clients, and two associations between the different perspectives of treatment and empathic methods. In addition to providing instantiations of empathic methods, researcher compared the results of the research with the literature to increase our knowledge of empathy.
