台灣的產業結構以中小企業為主,2015年增加30,932家,成長率為2.29%。2016年,台灣在創業精神暨發展指數(GEDI) 亞太地區排名第2名,全球排名為第6名,而女性創業指數於亞太地區排名為第6名,能看出台灣擁有強大的創業能量,創業的風氣非常興盛。創業能促使經濟成長,但創業之路困難重重,很多人失敗,所以被認為成功的創業家並不多。
Small-and-medium enterprises (SMEs) are the majority in Taiwan industry. Compared with 2014, there were 30,932 new SMEs in 2015 with an increasing rate of 2.29%. According to the reports of Global Entrepreneurship and Development Institute (GEDI) which has been ranked 2nd in Asia and 6th in the world, and Mastercard Inaugural Women''s Entrepreneurial Index 6th in Asia, Taiwan has been recognized with high entrepreneurial spirit. Entrepreneurship can lead to economic growth. However, entrepreneurs who have gone through numerous difficulties might cause the failure, and it is very few entrepreneurs are recognized as being successful.
This research is to study the fifteen selected Entrepreneurs that would go through interviews, in addition to the secondary data. The data are coded based on the following variables obtained from literature reviews, including the big five personality traits, locus of control, tolerance of ambiguity, innovativeness, achievement motivation, risk taking, prior knowledge, social network, passion, positive attitude, courage, social responsibility. The research is analyzed with the five constructs, "prior knowledge", " entrepreneurial belief and value characteristics", "entrepreneurial characteristics", "characteristics of enterprise operation and management", "social network". The research results indicate that the constructs have a great influence on entrepreneurial behavior, entrepreneurial intentions, entrepreneurial ideas, and help young startups avoid failures and reach succeed with a better opportunity.
