提升學生學習動機與興趣和解題、溝通以及連結等數學能力，一直以來都是數學教育努力追求的目標。而影響這些能力的基本因素，就是數學論證能力。數學證明在數學教學與學習的過程中佔有非常重要的地位。它能培養我們的推理能力，也能增強我們的邏輯思考能力。然而，在實際的教學現場上，數學證明一直以來都是學生在數學學習上較不感興趣且感到害怕的一環。十二年國民基本教育數學領域課程綱要中寫著：「數學應提供每位學生有感的學習機會」。因此本文為了提升學生對學習證明的動機和興趣、讓學生對數學證明有感，以及適時輔助課本教材中對於證明教學較為缺乏的多樣性和趣味性，我們從尼爾森(Roger B. Nelsen)所寫的著作《無字證明I：視覺思考上的練習》(Proofs Without Words I: Exercises in Visual Thinking)《無字證明II：更多視覺思考上的練習》(Proofs Without Words II: More Exercises in Visual Thinking)、《無字證明III：進階視覺思考上的練習》(Proofs Without Words III: Further Exercises in Visual Thinking)中，選出與現行高中課綱中相關的無字證明，利用Flash製作成動畫，藉由創新、設計完整適合的動畫，提升師生之間、學生之間交往互動與共同發展的課堂教學品質，期許以新的方式呈現另一證明新風貌。盼能帶給在教育現場上的教師及學生，在面對證明問題時，能有另一種新觀點及新選擇，進一步達到增強學習與深入理解數學的興趣。另外透過網路的分享，讓各個層級的學習對象以及教師們或其他有興趣於電腦多媒體輔助教學者，都能一窺無字證明的美並將之大力推廣及普及。
