本研究主要目的:探討樂齡族群在參加業餘合唱團，藉由台北市「大愛之聲」合唱團團員(50歲為下限)，經由問卷調查法與訪談，來探討：
(一) 參加合唱團之動機與目的。
(二) 不同背景的樂齡學員，参加合唱團之學習情況。
(三) 樂齡合唱團指揮的特質。
(四) 樂齡合唱團，是否值得政府文化部門、社教機關、學校專業樂齡師資培育、音樂系樂齡相關課程等等之推廣與設立，並作為相關研究的参考。
根據本研究，可以確定：
一、 樂齡參與合唱團之音樂活動有其價值與益處，兼具藝術、文化、學習、延緩老化與社交的功能，對個人與社會皆有重大的貢獻與意義。
二、 分析樂齡層的特性，有：
(一) 自尊心強
(二) 自信心低
(三) 認知功能退化
(四) 喜歡團體學習
(五) 不喜歡有太大的壓力
(六) 喜歡團體式的上台演出
根據以上這些特性，幫助指導者與學習者能互相了解其學習動機、目的與能力，達到最大的收穫與助益，以美妙的歌聲，群體有趣有伴的學習，打造快樂祥和的社會。

The main purpose of this study is to explore the participation of senior citizens in amateur choruses, through the Taipei City "Sound of Love" chorus (50-year-old lower limit), through questionnaires and interviews to explore:
1. Motive and purpose of participating in the chorus.
2. Senior students of different backgrounds participate in the study of the chorus.
3. The qualities of the senior chorus conductor.
4. Whether the senior chorus is worthy of promotion and establishment of the government cultural department, social education institutions, school professional seniority teachers, music age-related courses, etc., and serves as a reference for related research.
According to this study, it can be determined that: First, the music activities of the seniors participating in the chorus have their value and benefits, and they have the functions of art, culture, learning, delaying aging and socialization, and have significant contributions and significance to both individuals and society. Second, analyze the characteristics of the senior age layer, there are:
1. Strong self-esteem
2. Low self-confidence
3. Cognitive function degradation
4. Like group learning
5. I don't like to have too much pressure
6. Like group performances
Based on these characteristics, help instructors and learners can understand each other's motivations, purposes and abilities, achieve maximum gains and benefits, and create a happy and peaceful society with wonderful singing and interesting and companion learning.
