除了代工(Original Equipment Manufacturer, OEM)外,台灣電子業亦以委託設計代工馳名於世(Original Design Manufacturer, ODM)。品牌客戶選擇ODM廠商除了成本、技術能力與品質外,新品上市時間(time to market)亦為一項主要考慮因素。ODM廠商在接受委託開發過程中,必需整合資源來滿足品牌客戶的需求,以確保產品穩定能夠順利上市。一般而言,尋求低的開發成本及產品成本、提升生產良率、取得必要品質認證等,都是研發過程中基本的要求。隨著產品生命週期縮短,品牌廠商需快速推出新產品以符合市場需求,較短的新品上市時間壓縮了ODM廠的開發時程。在短時間的產品開發週期中,如何能避免錯誤,提升專案開發的效益,成為了ODM業者必需面對的課題。然而,即使專案經理人遵循著專案管理準則及新產品開發流程進行任務,仍有許多不可控制的問題發生,延緩了專案的交期。
TRIZ創新法則原本主要在提供工程問題的解決方案,但隨著應用層面愈來愈廣泛,TRIZ已從工程領域延伸到醫學、食品管理、商務管理等。本研究以TRIZ的觀念做為基礎,將工程參數類比為管理參數,並針對智慧手機開發專案進行中常遇到的問題,進行討論及分析。本研究以能夠提供專案相關人員TRIZ-like方式來解決智慧手機新產品開發中常遇到的問題;經由各種案例分析及TRIZ新產品開發流程管理參數建立,專案經理人只須依循步驟將面臨到的問題以TRIZ新產品開發流程管理管理參數進行分類,再套入矛盾矩陣後,即可快速獲得可行的解決方案。研究結果證實,TRIZ不但適用於開發時程日趨緊湊的智慧型手機產業,類似的ODM產業也可以援引結論,提升產品開發的效率。
Taiwan’s electronics industry is famous for its service of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) as well as Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) in the world. The factors taken into consideration for brand customers choose ODMs include cost, technical capabilities and quality. Besides, Time to market is also a major consideration. During the development process, ODM manufacturers need to integrate resources to meet customer demands to ensure the stability and product launched successfully. In general, seeking low cost for project development and product price, improving production yields and obtaining the necessary quality certifications are all basic requirements in the R & D process. Today, Brand companies are continuously introducing smaller, lighter and powerful models to enhance their product line. But the product life-cycle curve in electronics is steeper than ever before. Therefore, ODMs are constantly hounded by brand customer demands for faster product development schedule. How to avoid mistakes and improve the efficiency of project development in a short period of product development cycle, it becomes the top issue that ODM industry need to solve. However, even if the project manager follows the project management guidelines and the new product development process to execute tasks, there are still many uncontrollable problems that delay the delivery of the project.
TRIZ was used in providing solutions for engineering problems, but with more and more applications, TRIZ has been extended from engineering to medicine, food management and business management, etc. Based on the concept of TRIZ, this study classifies engineering parameters and transfers into management parameters, then discusses and analyzes the recurrent problems in smart phone development process. This study may provide TRIZ-like solutions for project-related personnel to solve the frequent issues in the development of smart phone projects. Through various case studies and TRIZ project management parameters establishment, project managers can execute the steps as following to solve the problems: 1. Classification by (TRIZ) management parameters. 2. Apply into the contradiction matrix. 3. Quickly get a viable solution. The results of the study confirm that TRIZ is not only suitable for the smart phone industry with tight schedule, but similar ODM industry can also cite conclusions and improve the efficiency of product development.
