本研究旨在探討不同時型者在不同時段下的駕駛行為與情境警覺績效。實驗因子為3 (不同時型:早晨型、中間型與夜晚型;組間因子) x3 (不同時段:白天、傍晚與午夜;組內因子)。透過量表篩選出早晨型、中間型與夜晚型的受測者,利用駕駛模擬器設計情境警覺事件與分割注意力工作,藉以探討不同時型者在不同時段下的駕駛行為與情境警覺績效;搭配簡易型感覺尋求量表與危險駕駛指數了解不同時型者之人格特質。在實驗過後填寫心理負荷量表,以了解不同時型者在不同時段下進行駕駛任務的心理負荷。
研究結果顯示:夜晚型自認為有較危險的駕駛行為,但實際的駕駛行為並沒有表現出危險的跡象。在分割注意力答對率與行駛過程的越線次數中,夜晚型在傍晚與午夜時的績效最好,早晨型在白天時的績效最好。在情境警覺績效方面,顯示夜晚型在傍晚與午夜的視覺情境警覺績效最好;早晨型在白天的視覺情境警覺績效最好;中間型在全時段的聽覺情境警覺績效最好。從心理負荷程度來看,夜晚型較容易感受到壓力,特別是在白天的時段;早晨型在傍晚與午夜的挫折度與生理負荷較大,但整體的負荷早晨型依然比夜晚型小。整體來看,中間型與夜晚型在傍晚與午夜有較好的表現;早晨型則是在白天有較好的表現。
現今,在國內鮮少有針對不同時型駕駛的研究,未來可以針對不同時型者的肇事原因、肇事時段、違規行為等駕駛行為,以及人格特質多加著墨,提供給大眾運輸公司作為篩選長途駕駛、夜班駕駛的參考。此外也能結合視覺與聽覺的特性,將其應用於車內資訊系統,讓駕駛能夠更準確的掌握道路資訊的動向,以增加行車安全。

The objective of this study was to investigate driving behavior and SA (situation awareness) performance of different chronotypes in different time. In this research, the experiment design is 3 (drivers’ chronotypes : morningness, intermediate, eveningness ; between) x 3 (different periods: daylight, moonlight and midnight ; within). In this study we screening the people who is belong to morningness, intermediate and eveningness through MEQ (Morningness-Eveningness questionnaire), making use of the car driving simulator to design SA events and DA (divided attention) task. The BSSS-V (Brief Sensation Seeking Scale Form V) and DDDI (Dula dangerous driving index) was used as realizing their personality. After completing this experiment, subjects have to fill out the task load index to analysis their mental workload in different periods.
The results of this study were that eveningness people have better performance
at completing the DA task accurately and keeping in the designated lane in moonlight and midnight, morningness people have better performance in daylight. In terms of SA, eveningness people have better performance at SA test in visual in moonlight and midnight, morningness people have better performance in daylight. The intermediate people have better performance at SA test in auditory test. In terms of mental workload, eveningness people was more likely to feel stress when they were during the daylight period especially.
Nowadays, there are only a few studies focus on the different chronotypes. We
can extend this topic to other driving behavior, such as the causes and period of traffic accidents, traffic violation, personality of different chronotypes and so on. Furthermore, we can combine the auditory warning system with visual direction for the drivers to obtain directions and trends of information on the road accurately.
