本研究主要從文化與家居生活的觀點探討史瓦帝尼王國建築多樣性的發展，從 傳統建築、前殖民時期、後殖民時期的演變。作者透過文獻研究史瓦帝尼王國家居 空間，試圖從傳統建築蜂巢形小屋到現代建築發展過程中，進行轉型的探索。作者 透過調查從環境如何影響建築外殼形式的選擇,了解史瓦帝尼王國的家居空間特點架 構。本研究主要從人類學的定性研究觀點進行半結構式訪談，攝影，錄像，錄音與 文獻回顧，蒐集研究資料與數據。研究成果說明現代建築與傳統建築如何在架構形 式上融合出當代流行的建築形式。

This study discusses the architectural diversity in the Kingdom of Eswatini taking into consideration how architecture has evolved from pre-colonial to colonial and post-colonial eras. From the literature review done by the Author, it has been discovered that the beehive-shaped hut is the original form of the housing of Eswatini and through this study, the researchers explore the transformation to modern-day architecture. The lack of documented information related to the study has inspired the author to research about the characteristics of Eswatini’s architecture, what influences the choice of housing in the country and the living conditions under each form of housing.
A qualitative ethnographic approach was taken when conducting this study where semi-structured interviews, photography, video recording, voice recordings, and review of literature were the tools used to gather data on the study.
The study illustrates how modern forms of architecture have gained popularity over traditional forms and the hybridization of both forms of architecture.
