ABSTRACT With the progress of economic development, national income increases and the transformation of population structure into an aging society, people have become more aware of medical services and have paid more attention to medical quality. Therefore, the expenditure on medical expenses has also increased year by year, and the demand for medical equipment has also increased. Hence, the way how to use medical resources in an effectively way, reduce unnecessary waste, improve the efficiency of application has became every government' first concern. Interpret the scope of the enterprise, management state and development trend to the domestic medical devices industry. Probe into the relevant assessment key elements of the environment and external environment condition inside the case company, dependence of and the forming key element of enterprise's competitive strategy, etc. Conclude and probe it’s competitive strategy and form the key element, in order to give advice and reference to make and revise the case company’ specific competitive strategy. A case company is selected as a subject for conducting case as an integral part of this research. By interviewing the managers in the company, it is examined from its start-up tactics, development strategies, and competitive strategies. Through the conclusions drawn from such strategies of the company and the interviews with field experts, this research aims to explore future strategies of the SMEs and also their potential business models.
