This creation study explores the author's creative context and exhibitions from 2016 to 2019, from the individual's attachment or rejection of past memories to the state of memories, and the presentation of memory from images to video, as the main axis of creation exploration. The behaviors of retrospective memories from the family normal life situation and many kinds of monuments in life are presented by the interaction between the virtual reality and the video behavior, simulating the development of memory and the return of past events.
The first chapter, "Introduction", starts from the eagerness to trace back the past, and uses the images in the camera's viewing window to ask questions about how the images are used to memorize text. The second chapter, "The Circuits of Memories" explore the possibility of memory in video format by the contemporary video art, and the theory of image literature, from the three aspects of “Lens Language”, “Fixation Psychology” and “Time Perception”. The third chapter "Creation context and interpretation analysis" analyze the context of the author’s creations in 2016 to 2018, from respectively the four parts of "Overview of Memories", "Image and Ablation of Memories", "Forced Behavior of Review", and "Time in Image Space." The fourth chapter, "Creation Practice", uses three levels of "viewing and re-viewing images", "the fixation of memories" and "the dissociation and lingering of memory" to carry out the three types of video in memories presentation. Final, "Conclusion", the video works summon the memory fragments by a non-single subjective perspective, and then introduce the viewers into the memory events of the authors, and basic on the image movement of the circuits to carry out the subject of this creation.
