This thesis focuses on the graduate concert, “Enchanting Ties with Flora's Whispers ”produced by both Hui-Shan Liu and Qin-Yu Tu in 2016, and exclusively analyzes and discusses the researcher’s performance and interpretations. The theme of this production was set on Chinese dance and its title was meant to express the connections between family, love and feelings, as beautiful as flowers, and was about telling the stories of the various emotions we experienced in life. This study reviews the process of production and discloses and summarizes the experiences of rehearsals and interpretations. This thesis is divided into five chapters. Chapter One is an introduction which explains the background, motive and structure of the production. Chapter Two is a literature review of the form of religion dance, interpretations of female characters, and interpretations of sadness. Chapter Three details the administration and organizational operation procedures used during the production. Chapter Four analyzes the dances and the performances and explains the interpretations and challenges of the four dances that the researcher performed. Chapter Five provides reviews and reflections on this production and interpretation and shares some suggestions and valuable experiences for future references.
