In the era of information technology, people can connect to each other in the convenient way with no burden in geographically distance via SNSs and especially Facebook. In particular, young generation, who is regularly attracted to the advanced technology device and new technology, is the major users of Facebook throughout the world. As a Vietnamese student, I am always interested in society changes in the development of technology, so I conducted a research relating to Facebook and its impact to Vietnamese student. The research was implemented to examine the influence of Facebook on Vietnamese student and their perceptions of Facebook through three variables: Perceived Usefulness, Academic Performance, Offline Relationship and Student Perceptions of Facebook. Basing on the questionnaire survey of 299 Vietnamese students in Ho Chi Minh City, the study found out findings and discussion on factors relating to Student Perceptions of Facebook in daily life. The results of the research illustrated partly the original purpose of the study. Perceived Usefulness, Academic Performance and Offline Relationship factors have influence on Student Perceptions of Facebook in their daily lives. By analyzing, we can figure out the correlation of these variables to Student Perceptions of Facebook in the direct and indirect way. The study is carried out basing on the knowledge that I have obtain in my learning path. By employing that knowledge along with using SPSS software, I do hope the results of this study can contribute a small reference for everyone who concern to this topic such as parents, students, teachers as well as university administrator. From then, they can give an appropriate decision and suitable assessment in using SNSs or Facebook in their daily lives.
