As the number of new immigrants living in Taiwan increases, the government is paying more attention to the education of new immigrants in order to help new immigrants (them) to adapt to the land (Taiwan) as soon as possible. In order to solve the inconvenience caused by different languages, the government actively increases the opportunities for new immigrants to learn languages. The government has increased learning opportunities for them to learn Chinese as a second language to help with their communication with Taiwanese. This research analyzes the Chinese folklore animation produced and distributed in Taiwan “Grandma and Her Ghost”, focus of the teaching design of animation textbooks, and collects the opinions of Chinese teachers on the teaching design of this animation teaching material, hoping to provide Chinese language teachers and Chinese teaching materials editors and provide researchers for future reference. Based on “Grandma and Her Ghost” which is a Chinese folklore animation produced in Taiwan, this research intends to analyze the text, focus on the teaching design of its textbooks, and gather the opinions and comments of Chinese teachers on its teaching materials for future reference.
