隨著網際網路服務和行動網路服務的興起,傳統的保險業務模式正面臨挑戰。部分金融業,如銀行業,多年前就已開始發展網路銀行服務。也有銀行開始投入資源開發行動裝置應用程式(APP)和應用程式介面(API)。然而,保險業近年來才開始探索相關應用的可能性。雖然保險公司通過使用技術改變商業模式,但隨著產品和服務的多樣化,法律遵循成本的負擔也將隨之增加,有必要使用新技術來降低人力資源成本並提高效率。
本研究旨在探討金融科技、監理科技及監理沙盒在台灣保險業的發展方向,主要透過深度訪談方式,就訪談中獲得的觀點和意見予以歸納總結,並為金融科技、監理科技及監理沙盒的未來發展戰略提供建議,以作為保險業、保險從業人員和保險監理機關制定未來政策的參考。
With the rise of internet services and mobile services, traditional insurance business models are facing challenges. As a part of the traditional industry, the financial industry has also faced the impact of the development of the Internet and the rise of internet services. Some industries, such as the banking industry, have started online banking services many years ago. Some banks have invested in the development of mobile device applications (APPs) and application interfaces (APIs). However, the insurance industry just begun to explore the possibility of related applications in recent years.
While the insurers change the business model by using technologies, the loading of legal compliance will also be increased with the diversification of products and services. It is necessary to use new technologies to reduce human resource cost and improve efficiency.
This study tries to explore the development direction of Fintech, Regtech and Sandbox in Taiwan insurance industry and provide recommendations on the future development strategies of Fintech, Regtech and Sandbox as a reference for the insurance industry, insurance practitioners and insurance supervisory agencies to formulate the future development strategy of the insurance industry in Taiwan by generalizing the views and opinions gathers from interviews.
