Taiwan has formally entered the aging society in 2018. In order to adapt to the changing of elder society, governments drew up relevant policies to achieving the goal of "active aging" vision by World Health Organization(WHO). However, in the progress of aging, elder is not only degraded physically, but also the transition of psychological role. It is a challenge on how to achieve the goal of self-actualization themselves.
The goals of the study are exploring the psychological factors of learning mo-tivation and social participation. Based on the five aspects of learning states, elders' characteristics, learning motivations, learning preferences, learning benefits and learning obstacles, semi-structure interview was conducted. 16 subjects who had par-ticipated in health promotion courses in Taipei Active Ageing Pavilion were inter-viewed. According to open coding, the results show that elder is mainly influenced by five aspects-interpersonal relations, adaptation, motivation, interest and self-confidence. The influences of "adaptation" which relates to "familiarity" and "interpersonal interaction" are most significant.
Summarizing the evaluation criteria and indicators from the result of semi-structured interviews and literature, we invited 86 seniors participated in three different types of health promotion programs, including handmade, planting, board games. In addition, we invite three experts who planning health promotion courses for health and sub-health elder and use questionnaires to detect the content validity, and the result uses the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) taking the right level of output analysis and re-ordering, constructed a health promotion curriculum assessment model consisting of five criteria and fourteen indicators.
The results show that healthy elders who focus on the interaction and atmos-phere of the curriculum are affected by the environment, such as "coordination", "immersion" and "pleasure". The elder keep involved in "Sense of achievement", but they pay less attention to "curriculum variability".
sub-healthy elders not only focus on "sense of identity" of surroundings, the "degree of difficulty" of the course and "operational skills" in the course, but also focus on external stimulation increasing their concentration, such like "freshness" and "curriculum objectives". The sub-healthy elders would afraid of the uncertainty as "creative imagination".
