本研究主要目的為，透過遊戲介入作為親職教育方案的設計主軸，以探討參與的家長在方案前、後如何增進其親職技巧與親子互動。研究對象為育有3-4歲幼兒的家長與其子女，邀請他們參與十堂方案課程以及三個月之後的追蹤訪談。過程中採用半結構式訪談、育兒觀察檢核表、家庭作業、省思札記及追蹤訪談等方式進行資料收集，以描述統計與主題分析方式來瞭解來了解方案對參與研究親子的影響。研究的成效發現：
一、親子遊戲方案能有效提升部分親職技巧，方案課程內容中與親職技巧的「響應」及「鼓勵」向度相關性高，故在方案介入後，參與家長在這兩個向度的親職技巧提升最為顯著。
二、方案能有效提升親子的正向互動其立即性效果。參與家長明顯在心態上轉變為「減少過多期待、尊重孩子想法」，其次產生行為調整「觀察、傾聽及與孩子溝通」，最後將所學內容「延伸至日常生活」，轉而看見孩子成長及帶來更多親密互動。然而，方案結束後三個月之追蹤發現僅有二至三項技巧仍持續維持。家長對於生活上實用且有效的親職技巧，像是：觀察、追隨與鼓勵則持續練習。
三、研究者在方案課程裡扮演示範、引導、支持、催化及指導的角色，並發現「成員出席率」、「帶領者與成員互動方式」及「課程符合成員期待」是影響本方案成效的關鍵因素。
最後，研究者以方案參與家長、方案帶領人，以及方案課程設計三方面的研
究發現與討論提出對於未來在研究與親職教育實務上的建議。

The main purpose of this study is to adopt a parent-child play intervention to explore how parents can improve their parenting skills and more positive parent-child interactions after joining this parental education program.
Three pairs of parents and their 3-4 years-old children participated in this play intervention which having ten sessions in a half year and a follow-up interview. The semi-structured interviews, parent-child interactions checklists, homework assignments, authors’ reflection notes, and follow-up interviews were used to collect data. The results of the study revealed that:
First, this play intervention can effectively improve some of the parenting skills. The participating parents obviously changed their mindset to "reduce too much expectation and more follow their children's interests", as well as, parents have more "observing, listening and communicating with children", and also extending the content of learning to their daily life. However, three months after the end of the program, only some of parenting skills were maintained.
In addition, this program clearly promotes more positive interactions between parents and their young children.
More over, the program leader’s roles, the “attendance rate", "good relationships between the program leaders and parents " and "courses meet parents’ expectations " can play a key to promote the effectiveness of the parental education program.
Finally, the suggestion of future research and parental educational program design
was given focusing on the program leader’s role and program contents.
