目前半導體產業面臨市場高度競爭與快速變化的問題，如何有效的運用時間、資源與成本將會是目前所需要探討之問題。本研究想了解半導體產業資訊部門專案管理實際應用現況，以質性研究多重個案方式進行，研究中運用專案管理的五大流程(專案起始、專案規劃、專案執行、專案監控、專案結束)搭配過去文獻整理之專案管理關鍵成功因素(人、組織、工具)做為訪談問項設計，研究過程依照質性研究方法，首先發放招募問卷，從回收的招募問卷中挑選三家半導體產業類型不同之企業，接下來對這三間企業進行半結構式訪談，在訪談之後進行資料統整與脈絡排序。本研究點出以下現況，企業將專案管理模式運用於日常工作、以高層推派方式決定專案團隊成員、專案文件的審核流程精簡化、以通訊軟體進行內部溝通、外商與台資企業考績給評及對於專案過程的嚴謹程度之差異。

Nowadays, the semiconductor industry face with a fast-changing competitive environment, so that the semiconductor industry will need to explore how to effectively use their time and resources, and how to keep the cost down. In this study, we’d like to survey the current situation of the actually use of project management in the information department of the semiconductor industry. We use the five major processes of project management (initiating processes, planning processes, executing processes, monitoring & controlling processes, closing processes), and the key success factors of project management in the past literature (people, organizations, tools) to design interview questions. The research process is followed qualitative research method. Firstly, distribute the recruitment questionnaires, and then three companies of different types of the semiconductor industry were selected from the returned recruitment questionnaires. Secondly, conduct semi-structured interviews to these companies, and then the data sorting and context sorting were done after interviews. This study points out the current situations as follows: enterprises applies project management practices to their daily work, supervisors selects team members to a project, procedures for reviewing project documents are simplified, internal staff communicates with instant messages, the difference between foreign and Taiwanese companies are performance appraisal and the accuracy of the project process.
