The study aims to explore the techniques of solving algebraic problems in mathematics, and the root and coefficient are one of the most common problem-solving techniques. Because it can be read to the public, the content is to use the middle and high school mathematics problem solving methods to find the relationship. This study classifies algebraic topics into basic and applied types. Basic algebraic questions can be solved using the basic concepts of middle and high schools; and applied algebraic questions usually need to be combined with more than two problem-solving techniques, of course, when exceptional. Each type of algebraic question type will be an example. The main topic is to use high school teaching questions and competition questions as examples. The research results can provide students with different problemsolving strategies and in the process of verifying the answers, they can be more familiar with the basic arithmetic rules in solving algebraic related equations and inequalities. When encountering more complicated questions or multiple equations, they can use substitutions or The multiplication formula simplifies the problem and enhances the spirit of students'' multiple thinking.
