台灣在2018年65歲以上人口佔總人口比例為14.56%,突破14%之門檻正式邁入「高齡社會」。銀髮族的健康照護需求已成為各領域產品設計之考量重點。
對於銀髮族的健康照護應由腳到頭全面照護,千里之行始於足下,人類每天在每天24小時中,扣除睡眠時間有8~16個小時穿著鞋子。因此,對於銀髮族的健康照護可由鞋子的設計開始。台灣曾經是著名的製鞋王國,製鞋業是創造台灣戰後三十年的經濟奇蹟的功臣之一,曾幾何時台灣製鞋產值衰退到不及顛峰時期的百分之一。而由於穿戴裝置技術、物聯網技術的發展,傳統製鞋業廠商開始轉型研發智能鞋以圖重返榮耀。
因此,傳統製鞋業結合高齡健康照護需求,與研發智能鞋之商業加值模式轉型,銀髮智能鞋墊創新商業模式是值得嘗試的方向。本研究旨在調查分析台灣消費族群對於智能鞋的需求,並進行巿場區隔分析,以中高齡者目標消費族群探討銀髮族康健智能鞋的需求,提供案例廠商開發銀髮族康健智能鞋,協助傳統鞋廠華麗轉身成為科技智能鞋廠,以商業創新模式提升產值與營業額再創智能鞋新王國。
研究結果顯示對於智能鞋的開發,『穿戴者足步壓力回傳』、『偵測穿戴者行走時間並回傳』之功能是全齡巿場的基本款,此款鞋已可定價在傳統鞋款之1~2倍之售價。若鎖定中高齡族群健康照護需求之目標巿場開發智能鞋除『穿戴者足步壓力回傳』、『偵測穿戴者行走時間並回傳』之基本功能,需再增加『偵測穿戴者地理位置並回傳』、『偵測穿戴者環境溫度並自動加溫』,而此款智能鞋的開發可將每雙鞋的平均售價提高至傳統鞋款的2~5倍。
The proportion of the population of Taiwan with the age of over 65 years old is breaking the threshold of 14% and Taiwan is officially entering the “senior society” in 2018. The demand of health care for aging people have become the focus of product design considerations in various fields.
For the health care of the aging people, it should be comprehensive. It says “The journey of a thousand miles begins with the foot”. People wear shoes for 8 to 16 hours every day, therefore, health care for aging people can start with the design of shoes. Taiwan was once a well-known shoe-making kingdom and the industry of shoe-making was one of the heroes who created Taiwan's economic miracle in the 30 years after the War II. Once the output value of the shoemaking industry in Taiwan declined to less than 1% of its peak. Due to the development of wearable device technology and Internet of Things technology, traditional footwear manufacturers began to transform and develop smart shoes in order to return the glory.
Therefore, the traditional footwear manufacturers combine with the needs of aging people for health care, and develop smart shoes to transform the commercial value-added model and innovate business model of aging people smart insoles is a direction worth trying. This study aims to investigate and analyze the demand of consumers in Taiwan for smart shoes, and to conduct market segmentation analysis to discuss the needs of aging people for health-care smart shoe. The results will provide the case of traditional shoe-making factory for turning gorgeously into a technology-based smart shoe factory by using a business innovation model to increase production value and turnover and create a new kingdom of smart shoes.
The results show that for the development of smart shoes, the functions of detect and response foot pressure of the wearer and detect and response the wearer with the walking time are the basic functions of the smart shoes for whole market. Beside the basic functions of detect and response foot pressure of the wearer and detect and response the wearer with the walking time, for the smart shoes developed for aging people those functions of detect and response geographic location of wearer and detect and response temperature of wearer are necessary. The new model of smart shoes can increase the average selling price of each pair of shoes by 2 to 5 times.
