Nowadays the tourism sector has become one of the most influential sectors in global activities. Indonesia is an archipelago country that has potential in the tourism sector. It is necessary to discover the development of Indonesia tourism. The number of foreign tourists visiting Indonesia can be used as a representative of the condition of tourism in Indonesia. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the factors that affect tourism visiting Indonesia. It examines the relationship between the number of foreign tourists and the economic factors such as Indonesia GDP (Gross Domestic Product) growth rate, Global GDP growth rate, exchange rate (IDR/USD) and Indonesia unemployment rate. This data is examined over period of 11 years, from 2007-2017 and it is taken in quarterly data form. This study uses regression model to analyze the relation between the number of foreign tourist and four economy indicators. The results show that the Global GDP growth rate, exchange rate and Indonesia unemployment rate have significant relationship toward number of foreign tourist.
