How the global environment and human development superimpose is a difficult problem for human beings in the allocation of earth resources limited. Since the beginning of the 21st century, human has damaged the global marine environment. Because of reducing the degree of the damagement to the marine environment, many countries have implemented environmental education and marine education in order to promote the concept of sustainable development.
This study explores the experiential quality of Taiwanese citizens in promoting marine environmental education at the National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium in Taiwan. Hence a proposal of marine environmental education may be provided to the government when promoting marine environment education, reference to the attitudes and actions of the participation of the citizens. Based on web-based questionnaires, this study received 262 responses, among which 227 responses were effective, which were then used to verify the research hypothesis, and the results of a structural equation modeling analysis. As seen from the results, the whole of hypotheses were supported, and an excellent overall model fit. The result shows that experiential quality has positive effects on perceived value, environmental attitude and environmentally responsible behavior, in which perceived value and environmental attitude have positive effects on environmentally responsible behavior.
