 目的: 探討世界級田徑5000公尺和10000公尺男子和女子選手比賽配速策略之特徵與差異。方法: 以2013年、2015年、2017年、2019年世界田徑錦標賽和2016年奧林匹克運動會男子和女子5000公尺和10000公尺決賽的前八名選手為研究對象，分析160名選手。從國際田徑總會和國際奧林匹克委員會官方網站，收集研究對象的比賽成績和每100公尺分段的時間，進一步計算每1000公尺的分段速率和分段速率百分比，再將選手分成第1名至第3名和第4名至第8名兩個名次組別，以混合設計二因子變異數分析比較5000公尺和10000公尺男子和女子以及兩個名次組別，在分段速率百分比之差異。結果: 男子和女子選手的比賽配速策略相似，在5000公尺項目男子和女子選手在最初1000公尺的分段速率為最慢，以最後1000公尺的分段速率最快。在10000公尺項目，男子選手在最後3000公尺進行加速，女子選手則是在最後2000公尺加速。在5000公尺和10000公尺比賽過程中，男子和女子選手跑步速率的變化不大。此外在男子和女子的第1名至第3名和第4名至第8名這兩個組別選手的配速策略也同樣相似。結論：世界級田徑5000公尺和10000公尺男子和女子選手在比賽中皆採用均速配速策略，並在最後1000公尺分段的速率最快。
 Purpose: This was study to analyze characteristics and differences of the 5000-m and 10000m world-class track and field male and female athletes’ pacing strategy. Method: The subject were the 2013, 2015, 2017, and 2019 World Athletics Championships and 2016 Olympic Games top eight male and female athletes in the 5000-m and 10000-m final. All data for this study were obtained from the World Athletics and the International Olympic Committee websites. The data included athlete finishing times and 100-m split times to calculate the 1000-m split speed and the percentage of mean speed. In each race, athletes were grouped for the purposes of analysis and comparison. These groups were the top three finishers (“medalists”) and those finishing 4th to 8th (“Top 8”). The mixed design of two-way ANOVA was conducted on the percentage of mean speed to identify the difference between male and female. Results: The pacing strategy was remarkably similar between male and female. In the 5000-m event, the male and female had the slowest split speed in the first segment, the fifth segment had the fastest split speed in the 5000-m. In the 10000-m event, the male has accelerating in the last three kilometers and female in the last two kilometers. The running speed of male and female during the race did not change much. In addition, male and female have similar pace strategies in the medalists and the Top 8 groups. Conclusion: The world-class 5000-m and 10000-m track and field male and female athletes use the same the even pacing strategies, and the fastest speed in the last 1000 meters segment.
