Based upon the author's self-imagination, the present study compiles a series of fairy tales about campus, family, work, and love stories. The author combs through and reexamines her life using self-narratives, and then comes to understand the deep meaning of the unbearable darkness brought by her life's fairy tales. With an understanding of the meaning of “darkness” in life, the author is able to embrace the gift that comes with “darkness” and undergoes a transformation. This, in turn, has enriched the author's inner life, who now knows how to use this precious gift in her future teaching.
