The study is aimed to explore relationship between conformity to masculine norms, muscle checking and exercise addiction, and exam a mediation effect of muscle checking between conformity to masculine and exercise addiction. The study was a cross-sectional study and use convenience sampling to select weight training male randomly from gym center as participate. Participants completed background information, Conformity to Masculine Inventory, Male Body Checking Questionnaire and Exercise Addiction Inventory. Total 160 valid samples (Mean age: 29.54 ± 8.14) and perform structural equation model to test. The result indicated that conformity to masculine norms has positive relationship to muscle checking and exercise addiction. Muscle checking has positive relationship to exercise addiction, and muscle checking also has part of mediated effect. Conclusion: weight training male has high risk of exercise addiction when they increase training because affected by conformity to masculine norms and place an emphasis on being muscular. Besides, the relationship between conformity to masculine and exercise addiction effected by muscle checking.
