本論文中利用Haar特徵分類器設計一套適用於智慧型停車場的圖像車牌辨識系統。將對方的車牌拍照存檔，當車輛進入停車場時，系統將辨識車牌是否為會員，取得車牌號碼的位置後，再將車牌號碼擷取下來，進而分割車牌號碼取得車牌中每一個文字，使用這些車牌號碼文字進行機器學習訓練，建立車牌號碼辨識模型，使用這個模型進行車牌辨識。

In this thesis, Haar feature classifier is used to design an image license plate recognition system for intelligent parking lot. The camera is set up at the entrance and exit of the car park and the system automatically takes the identification license plate when the vehicle leaves the car park. After obtaining the location of the license plate number, the license plate number will be taken down. Dividing the license plate number to get every word in the license plate, the number text is introduced to the machine learning training in order to establish the recognition model. The identification system at the exit can use the result of the license plate identification to confirm whether it is a member.
