The purpose of this study is to explore the current situation, differences and related situations of the job pressure and job satisfaction of elementary school teachers for gifted education in Tainan. A survey of 48 elementary school teachers in Tainan, and the recovery rate was 95.83%. The data were processed by descriptive statistics, t test, single factor variance analysis and Pearson product variance correlation analysis, and the following conclusions were obtained:
1.Teachers from the gifted classes in elementary schools in Tainan felt "moderate" working pressure, and "workload" felt the most stressful. 2.The work satisfaction of the teachers of the gifted classes in elementary schools in Tainan is "upper middle", and the job satisfaction with "teaching work" is the highest. 3.There are significant differences in work pressures among teachers in the Tainan elementary school in different grades of education, professionalism, class size, and reasons for teaching gifted classes. 4.There are significant differences in job satisfaction among teachers in the gifted classes of the elementary school in Tainan with different positions and reasons for teaching gifted classes. 5.The overall work pressure of gifted teachers in elementary schools in Tainan is significantly related to the overall job satisfaction. The higher the work pressure of gifted teachers, the lower the job satisfaction.
