近年來為推動國人英語能力,行政院在107年底通過雙語政策,隨著雙語政策的推動下,英語能力似乎已成國人不可或缺的技能。本研究旨在探討五大人格特質、成就動機與職場英語自我效能之關係,並瞭解不同個人背景變項之工程師的人格特質、成就動機和職場英語自我效能現況差異。根據上述目的,研究者以工程師為研究對象,進行問卷取樣,收集的問卷資料將以SPSS25.0進行統計分析,本研究結論,如下所示:

1.五大人格特質與職場英語自我效能之間具有正向顯著的影響,其中經驗開放性對職場
英語自我效能有重要影響。
2.五大人格特質與職場上以英語工作的信心與能力具有正向顯著的影響,其中經驗開放
性對職場上以英語工作的信心與能力有重要影響。
3.五大人格特質與面對以英語工作的態度具有正向顯著的影響,其中經驗開放性對面對
以英語工作的態度有重大影響。
4.五大人格特質與成就動機之間具有正向顯著的影響,其中審慎度和經驗開放性對成就
動機具有重大影響。
5.成就動機與職場英語自我效能之間具有正向顯著的影響。
6.成就動機與職場上以英語工作的信心與能力具有正向顯著的影響。
7.成就動機與面對以英語工作的態度具有正向顯著的影響。
8.成就動機在五大人格特質與職場英語自我效能之間具有中介效果。
9.成就動機在五大人格特質與職場上以英語工作的信心與能力之間具有中介效果。

In recent years, in order to promote English language ability, Executive Yuan adopted a bilingual policy at the end of 2018. With the promotion of the bilingual policy, English ability seems to have become an essential skill for Taiwanese. The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between the Big five personality traits, achievement motivation, and English self-efficacy at the workplace, and to understand the differences in personality traits, achievement motivation, and workplace English self-efficacy among engineers with different personal backgrounds.
According to the above purpose, the researcher adopted engineers as the research object and questionnaire samples. The collected questionnaire data were statistically analyzed with SPSS25.0. The conclusions of this study are as follows:
1.There is a positive impact between the Big five personality traits and English self-efficacy at the workplace. Openness to experience in the Big five personality traits have a significant impact on English self-efficacy at the workplace.
2.There is a positive impact between the Big five personality traits and confidence and the ability to work in English at the workplace. Openness to experience in the Big five personality traits have a significant impact on confidence and the ability to work in English at the workplace.
3.There is a positive impact between the Big five personality traits and attitude for face working with English. Openness to experience in the Big five personality traits have a significant impact on attitude for face working with English.
4.There is a positive impact between the Big five personality traits and achievement motivation. Conscientiousness and openness to experience in the Big five personality traits have a significant impact on achievement motivation.
5.There is a positive impact between achievement motivation and English self-efficacy at the workplace.
6.There is a positive impact between achievement motivation and confidence and the ability to work in English at the workplace.
7.There is a positive impact between achievement motivation and attitude for face working with English.
8.Achievement motivation has a mediating effect on the relationship between the Big five personality traits and English self-efficacy at the workplace.
9.Achievement motivation has a mediating effect on the relationship between the Big five personality traits and confidence and the ability to work in English at the workplace.
