Abstract
Under the development of science and technology, more and more teachers and students use online courses, because the covid-19 has accelerated the development of online courses. As long as there is a network and basic hardware equipment, you can take the classes anywhere. Some problems are arising because these online courses are different from physical courses. For example: for pre-recorded online courses, if you encounter a problem, there is no way to find the teacher directly. Most learners need to send email or other methods, but most of the ways to contact the teacher are through email. They cannot discuss and iteration with classmate and feel lonely in the online class. So, we hope to find free and open resources on the internet to create an education helper that can help students solve some common problems in online courses.
This study will use action research as the method of this research. In this theise have designed a total of four stages, through the four steps of action plan, action, result analysis, and reflection to complete the creation of educational helpers. Through these four stages, including the first stage: find a suitable open platform, the second stage: find a suitable creation platform Botpress, the third stage: design the dialogue of pedagogical agents, the fourth stage: complete the creation of these dialogues, and start the test.
In the end, we created PA through these four stages, and the final research results are also tested by the students. The education helper can indeed help them complete most of the problems in the classroom.
