This study took Xianghe Recreational Fishing Ground as the object and explored the feasibility of combining the management of recreational fishing grounds with environmental education to promote sustainable development. First, the advantages, shortcomings, opportunities and challenges of fish farms were established by the questionnaire surveys on the inventory of fish farms and their stakeholders. Then, according to the Sustainable Development Goals of United Nations, the Global Reporting Initiative and ISO 26000, the sustainable development issues on the economic, social and environment were proposed. Through questionnaires and business manager interviews. This study obtained the key, which were checked with the current status of operation to propose the strengthened parts as future sustainable development directions. The research found that stakeholders are more concerned about the brand image management and the ecological sustainability, followed by the curriculum design, the gender equality, the breeding environment, and the teaching quality. However, operational risks and labor relations are less concerned. Therefore, the training of employees should focus on the cultivation of ecological environment literacy. The operational risks should be controlled. The business brand of the site can be establish by the cross-industry alliances for the jointly produce and sell, so as to promote the sustainable development of the fishery.
