In the era of fierce competition, companies are facing more and more demands, and the employee creativity become the key factor of enhancing the competitive advantages. In the company, if employees have good personality traits and good person-job fit, or leaders have outstanding leadership, all these can promote employee creativity and enable the company to adapt and survive in a competitive environment. Therefore, this study takes employees from multiple industries as the research object, based on the individual factors, environmental factors and interactive behavior in reciprocal determinism, combined with the personality traits of employees at the personal level and leadership behavior at the organizational level, and explore the influence of person-job fit of employees and creativity. After literature review, this study proposes to compose a research framework with four variables, proactive personality, ethical leadership, person-job fit, and employee creativity, to explore their relevance. A total of 387 valid questionnaires were collected by using questionnaire survey method and used the structural equation model “Structural equation modeling” to conduct hypothesis verification analysis. The results show that proactive personality and ethical leadership have a positive impact on person-job fit; proactive personality, ethical leadership and person-job fit have a positive impact on employee creativity. Finally, the theoretical and practical implications, research limitations and future research directions of the research results are proposed.
