本研究旨在对绿色营销和采用进行评估和理论化,以供参考

This research aims to assess and theorize for green marketing and adoption with reference
to Light Electric Vehicles (LEVs) in Tainan, a southern Taiwan city which is threatened by growing
air- pollution. Research methodology used a constructive mixed approach relying on quantitative
empirical studies, time-series forecasting and conceptual design tools to construct an open
innovation roadmap for LEVs in Tainan. The literature examined previous EV adoption research
and the innovation process while the empirical research included a preliminary study to pre-test the
green attitudes of potential customers in Tainan followed by a full study regarding their future
behavioral intention based on extended Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). The pilot study relied
on 81 samples while the full study relied on 349 samples. Bothe studies collected data from young
adults at key universities in Tainan.
One contribution is to fill in the literature gap regarding environmental awareness and
media to predict attitude through the mediating effect of trust. While the full study contributed to
the theory by building an extended TPB model applicable for LEV adoption intention to fill in the
behavioral intention gap whereas government incentives and perceived risk are the extra extended
predictors of intention. The extended model confirmed the mediating effect of behavioral control as
well as the moderating demographics.
The research found that media can build trust but not enough to directly shape proenvironmental
attitude, while the full study found a significant potential for LEV adoption and
diffusion in Tainan considering that perceived risks and government support are handled. Metadata
analysis and results forecasted EV production and incentives in which the findings show a growing
trend until 2030. Such findings are coupled with conceptual design solutions and a roadmap strategy
to support decision makers build future insight by considering the drivers and barriers for a more
comprehensive open innovation roadmap to promote and foster LEV diffusion in Taiwan.
Even though the thesis has several limitations including the limited funds and limited
empirical scope covering Tainan rather than whole Taiwan; yet the combination of different
research tools and analysis techniques along with the empirical findings can be considered enough
indicators to compile a national roadmap for LEV industry in Taiwan. The thesis also offers
recommendations for industry and policy decision makers as well as for academia and future
research direction.
