The purpose of this study is to discuss the differences between the twelve offensive and defensive(off. & def.) data of the top four teams in the men's division of High school Basketball League(HBL) in 109th academic year, and compare the differences in the twelve off. & def. data of the starting lineup and bench players in different positions, then analyze the correlation between the performance of various off. & def. data and the score and victory or defeated of the game. This study takes the top four teams in the men's division of the HBL in the 109th academic year as the object, and uses descriptive statistics to analyze and explain the ranking of each team's twelve off. & def. data, then compare the data which are gathered from different positions’ players. An independent sample t-test is used to test the differences in the twelve off. & def. data of the starting lineup and bench players; then the single factor variance analysis is used to compare the differences in the twelve off. & def. data of players in different positions. If the F value of each variable analysis reaches a significant level, the LSD method will be used for post-comparative analysis. Pearson correlation to analyze the relation between off. & def. data and scores as well. The research results indicate that: (1) The ranking of the twelve off. & def. data of each team shows that Taishan High School has the highest average two-point field goal percentage, and the highest average three-point field goal percentage goes to Nanshan, then the highest average free throw percentage is Tungtai High School. Taishan High School has the highest average off., def. and total rebound in the league. Taishan High School also lead the average assist and steal is in the league, The highest average block, foul, and turnover goes to Nanshan High School. Finally, the highest scoring data is Taishan High School. (2) The starting lineup and bench players of top four teams have reached significant differences in two-point field goal percentage, three-point field goal percentage, free throw percentage, offensive rebounds, defensive rebounds, total rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, fouls, turnovers, scoring, etc. (3) The differences in the variables of the same background, each team's guards, forwards, and centers in different positions, except for free throw shooting percentage and defensive rebounds, the other ten technical performance differences have reached a significant level. (4) The off. & def. performance of each team is significantly related to scoring, including two-point field goal percentage, three-point field goal percentage, free throw percentage, offensive rebounds, defensive rebounds, total rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, fouls, and turnovers. (5) The off. & def. performance of each team is significantly related to the outcome of the two-point field goal percentage, three-point field goal percentage, and free throw percentage.
