Taiwan's semiconductor and FL-LED industries are among the top three in the world. Electronic equipment industry is facing intense competition, so how to provide customized and optimized equipments to meet customers' requirements in order to increase their business competitiveness. Strategy of the purchasing on the supply chain management plays a vital role in the electronic equipment industry. The purpose of this study is to conduct a case study on the strategy of electronic equipment industry with Company A as the subject of the study. Corporate strategies are more like battlefield strategies, and multi-strategies can increase company competition. Adding the impact of COVID-19 on global supply chains, this study focuses on the advantages and disadvantages of the electronics industry. Observing trends and developing changes are taking in account to adopt the purchasing strategies. Using five-point analysis, SWOT and purchasing strategy management, semi-structured in-depth interviews, data collection and understanding of the company's current situation, Company A's recommendations are provided after these analysis After the interview, Company A has faced a bottleneck in the global supply chain after the COVID-19 pandemic. The recommendations for the company A are to endeavor on self-development for the refining and differentiation on the products. During the trends of globalization having uniqueness and niche on specific territory as for holding the key strategies on evolution and transformation on the technology, so the company can own advantages on business competition in the future.
