The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between “Team-Member Exchange”, “Learning Engagement” and “Knowledge Sharing” of public high school students in Taichung City and Chang Hua County. Questionnaire survey was adopted as the research method. A total of 1093 students were selected to participate in the study. The instruments used in this study included the “Team-Member Exchange Scale”, the “Learning Engagement Scale” and “Knowledge Sharing Scale”. The descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's product-moment correlation and multiple regression analysis were used to analyze the survey data.
The findings of the study were summarized as follows: First, “gender”, one of the four background variables, have significant differences on Team-Member Exchange and Knowledge Sharing. While other background variables such as “gender”, “area”, “grade” and “school size” have significant differences on Learning Engagement. Second, positive relationships existed among academic Team-Member Exchange, Knowledge Sharing, Learning Engagement in Taichung City and Chang Hua County. Third, the “Mediation Effect of Knowledge Sharing” between Team-Member Exchange and learning engagement of junior high students in Taichung city and Chang Hua county existed partially. Finally, the results could be served as recommendations for schools, teachers and future researchers.
