The purpose of this study is to explore the process of integrating comic into action research in the teaching of Taiwanese proverbs, the effectiveness of students' learning and collecting feedback from both the students and the parents on this course of instruction. This research adopts this action research method in the middle and senior grades of an elementary school in Dali District, Taichung City as the research object. The research method has a total of 12lessons, each with 40 minutes of teaching and classroom activities. This research analyzes and summarizes the expected results of this research through classroom observation, story creation, four-frame comic works, teacher reflection and feedback data. Four key components are:1. The use of cartoons to integrate the teaching of Taiwanese proverbs can enhance students' interest in classroom participation.2. The teaching of comics into Taiwanese proverbs can improve learning effectiveness bringing forth comprehension.3.The combination of proverbs and comics will combine with reflection of one’s daily life and experience.4. Providing suggestions for teachers and future related research based on the research results.
