現代魚缸發展走向精緻化與小型化，設計上外觀及造景的配置運用設計軟體將其形態做整體的規劃，使造形的外觀擁有不同的元素，讓水族愛好者得以有不同的魚缸和造景選擇。
本設計研究主要發想為運用山水意象元素設計多種創新形態，並透過市場調查了解美觀及實用性之滿意度，最後得以調整為最具市場價值之產品設計。透過市場調查了解現在市面之發展趨勢及研究新穎的魚缸設計；接續，透過前測問卷線上發放，收集具養魚經驗的使用者對於魚缸使用需求及情境佈置經驗等訊息蒐集，獲得養魚需求的重點及魚缸內部佈置喜好等，藉以調整外部及內部造景設計方向及分析。依據前述分析，發展後續研究設計，分別為四大系列「虛實相生系列」、「三遠法系列」、「生活山水意象連結系列」與「抽象化山水意象結合造景設計系列」的魚缸及造景之設計發想。
最後，透過後測問卷，調查使用者對於本研究「四大系列作品」之美觀及實用性滿意度。利用里克特七階段滿意度評比，及結合TOPSIS法分析後，經過篩選排序，了解大眾喜歡的魚缸類型。並從中挑選其一作品做出實體魚缸為設計驗證，並透過多方族群的人員訪談，以強化該魚缸造景設計。

In the fullness of time, the fish tank design is becoming more delicate and exquisite, designing software has also made the design of fish tank appearance and configuration easier and hence provides more options for aquarium lovers to choose from. During the design research, we tried various forms of landscape imagery elements to find out the form of aquascape and fish tanks that meet the modern landscape imagery elements.
Through the market survey, we understand the design of fish tank and the development trend of fish tank in the market; then, through the online questionnaire of pre-test, we collect the feedback from the users who have experience in fish farming, and get the key points of fish farming needs and preferences of fish tank interior layout, so as to adjust the direction and analysis of exterior and interior landscape design. The subsequent research and design direction is to develop fish tank and landscape design with landscape imagery elements. The four series of fish tank and landscape design ideas are "Realistic and Virtual Series", "San Yuan Method Series", "Living Landscape Imagery Link Series" and "Abstract Landscape Imagery Combined with Landscape Design Series".
Finally, through a post-test questionnaire, users were interviewed about the aesthetics and practicality of the above "four series of works" of this study on the application of landscape imagery to fish tank and aquascape design. After using Richter's seven-stage satisfaction rating and combining with TOPSIS method analysis, the types of fish tanks preferred by the public were sorted and selected from among them to make a suitable work to validate the design of a solid fish tank. The aquascape design was strengthened by interviews with people from multiple communities.
