Food become one of the most concerns for market in supply chain perspective and very important for supporting human activity in daily life.
To manage it, cold chain become an important part specially since food considered as a perishable product and require special treatment. Some
foods are categorized as time-varying deteriorate; it means food is slowly
perished due to time. In some case of supply chain, the excess stock cannot
be avoided and minimized as possible because of miscalculation of order
or unexpected demand. Supply chain also needs to deal with many constraints such as expiration date, imperfect product and the demand that
keep changing depend on product price either from buyer request or the
demand itself. This research considers the single-vendor multi-buyers’
perspective, and build the integrated inventory model involving price
dependent demand and advanced payment. The motivation of this research
is to extend and to contribute on supply chain world to give an insight. The
proposed model also gives the numerical example to illustrate the model
how effective the model when excess stock from buyer will return to
vendor and being salvaged or resell as a part to minimize the loss because
of excessive stock that being return without disposed it.
