印度尼西亞伊斯蘭銀行是在印度尼西亞運營的銀行機構之一,採用伊斯蘭商業務的概念,伊斯蘭教法業務是指基於公眾信任運行的伊斯蘭教的宗教價值觀。 伊斯蘭銀行必須通過體現高度的職業道德來表現良好。 領導力在創造積極的員工行為方面起著至關重要的作用。 因此,有必要在組織中培養積極導向的領導力。 基於此,進行了這項研究,以了解精神領導力如何影響員工行為,包括職業道德。 已經研究了影響精神領導力和職業道德之間關係的其他因素,以確定工作場所尊嚴的影響以及調解和調節生活意義的機制。 本研究調查了調解在工作場所尊嚴中的作用,以及在精神領導力和職業道德之間關係中調節生活意義的作用。

Indonesian Islamic banks are one of the banking institutions operating in Indonesia using the concept of sharia business, which refers to religious values in Islam running based on public trust. Islamic banks must perform well by embodying a high work ethic. Leadership has an essential role in creating positive employee behavior. Therefore, it is necessary to develop positive-oriented leadership in the organization. Based on this, this research was conducted to understand how spiritual leadership influences employee behaviors, including work ethic. Other factors that influence the relationship between spiritual leadership and work ethic have been investigated to identify the effect of workplace dignity and the mechanisms of mediation and moderating meaning in life. This study investigates the role of mediation in workplace dignity and moderating meaning in life in the relationship between spiritual leadership and work ethic.
Questionnaire data collection was adapted and randomly distributed to Islamic banks in Indonesia. Data from respondents who participated in the questionnaire was collected from as many as 556 people working in Indonesian Islamic banks in various positions, from managers to employees. Structural equation modeling was carried out using Smart PLS 3. This study found a direct relationship between spiritual leadership and work ethic through the vision dimension and workplace dignity and work ethic. The findings in this study also revealed the influence of workplace dignity mediation between spiritual leadership (vision, altruistic love, hope, and faith) and work ethic. Based on this, spiritual leadership practices foster a sense of dignity in the workplace, contributing to enhanced work ethics. The meaning in life as a moderator is directly related to spiritual leadership (hope/faith) and work ethic. This study suggests that individuals with higher levels of meaning in life will exhibit more robust work ethics when exposed to spiritual leadership practices. The findings of this research will contribute to the existing literature on leadership, work ethics, and Islamic banking. The study will provide practitioners, managers, and leaders in the Islamic banking industry with valuable insights by underscoring the significance of spiritual leadership in fostering positive work ethics. The study will also highlight the importance of workplace dignity and personal meaning in life as influential factors in the relationship between spiritual leadership and work ethics. The ultimate objective of the research is to improve organizational practices in Islamic banking institutions, thereby fostering more ethical and meaningful workplaces.
