本研究旨在從短期兒童與青少安置機構生活輔導員之經驗出發,探討生活輔導員在面對與兒童與青少年結案時的內在想法與感受。邀請四位研究參與者進行半結構式訪談,採用Lieblich等人(1998)「整體-內容」與「類別-內容」的敘說研究作為資料分析方法,得出的研究結果與發現如下:
一、短期兒童與青少安置機構的生活輔導員在處理結案的經驗:(一)結案時間點的不確定性讓生活輔導員需要有更多心理彈性空間去面對。(二)機構為了照顧上的方便,選擇不要告訴孩子確切的結案日期。(三)孩子面對結案時情緒是各有不同,需彈性因應提供對個案最好的方式。(四)工作人員感同身受孩子在機構內的生活而提供孩子離開前的滿足感。(五)說再見是需要示範的。(六)發展各自獨特的說再見方式。
二、短期兒少安置機構的生活輔導人員在面對結案時的內在歷程:(一)說再見是容易的,因為關係還不深。(二)在關係建立前已預想與孩子關係的結束。(三)結案後渴望關係可以再延續下去。(四)面對孩子離開所產生出的心情。(五)未能好好說再見、突然消失的失落感。(六)服務關係結束後思考該用什麼心情來去面對未來彼此的再相遇。(七)界線的維持可以減緩說再見所帶來出的衝擊。
三、結案對短期兒少安置機構的生活輔導人員所帶來的影響:(一)準備好好說再見是一個多層意義的過程。(二)生活輔導員這份工作帶來個人成長與收穫。(三)好好說再見可以給予孩子一個有別過往的經驗。(四)能否好好說再見連結到個人曾經或疑似被拋下的記憶。
最後,根據本研究的分析與結果,提出個人反思並對機構制度、實務工作者與未來研究方向提供相關建議。

This study aims to explore the inner thoughts and feelings of residential caregivers when they face the settlement of cases with children and teenagers. Four research participants were invited to conduct semi-structured interviews, using Lieblich et al.'s (1998) "Holistic-Content" and "Category-Content" narrative research as the data analysis method.

The study found that:1. The experience of residential caregivers in short-term child and teenager placement agencies in terminating: there are six research findings. 2. The internal process of the residential caregivers in the short-term placement agency for children and adolescents when terminating: there are seven research findings. 3. The impact of terminating the residential caregivers in short-term children and adolescent placement agencies: there are four research findings.
Finally, according to the analysis and results of this study, personal reflections are proposed and relevant suggestions are provided for placement agencies, practitioners, and future research directions.
