The cleaning service industry is less valued in the general industry, and the welfare and security of the employees are relatively weak. The personnel management and company system are relatively loose and undisciplined. Indeed, only a few cleaning companies comply with the law and regulation for the ideal labor rights and interests. The average age of employees in the cleaning service industry is relatively old, appertaining to more heavy labor and disadvantaged groups. Labor-heavy work causes physical discomfort and psychological fatigue, which leads to lack of work and an aging population. This study’s case company mainly serves the customer groups in the high-tech industry, and has high requirements for personnel education, training, and quality. The selection of employees that can the ability to provide five-star high-quality services that meet customer needs is indeed a big problem. The continuous growth of high-tech industries leads to an increased cleaning demand of high-tech workshops. With this, enterprises would need to upgrade their management systems, strengthen education and training, and drive the centripetal force of employees.
The cleaning service industry is a relatively easy industry to start with. Yet, management is easily disordered, and managers would be biased towards personal subjectivity and preferences. However, with the expanding construction of high-tech factories, the demand for cleaning personnel is also increasing rapidly. So, managing hundreds of people is a deliberation. This study systematically sorts out and analyzes the business model of the cleaning service industry. And summarizes the key elements of the advantages and disadvantages of the case by SWOT analysis. After years of consideration, this L company as case study provides a proposal for the cleaning service industry: 1. Training middle-level managers to manage talents of the cleaning industry will lead to a tremendous growth in the business. 2. Cycle management, discovering problems, asking questions, discussing solutions, implementing improvements, and circular communication and improvement is the way to sustainable management. 3. Upgrading software and hardware requires improving the quality of personnel while increasing hardware equipment, purchasing high-efficiency cleaning equipment, solving the high-intensity labor mode of employees, allowing employees to complete work more efficiently, and increasing customer satisfaction.
