本研究旨在探討臺中市公立國小中高年級音樂性社團學童心態與基本心理需求的關係,並了解學童之不同背景變項在這兩變項的差異情形。本研究採用問卷調查法,以分區便利取樣抽取111學年度臺中市十三所公立國民小學之中高年級音樂性社團學童,有效樣本共計699份,並以「音樂能力心態量表」與「音樂性社團基本心理需求量表」作為本研究之研究工具。施測所得之資料,以描述性統計、Hotelling T2、MANOVA、皮爾森積差相關、簡單迴歸分析等統計方法進行考驗假設與統計分析,本研究所得結果如下:
一、臺中市國小中高年級音樂性社團學童知覺成長心態與基本心理需求之現況皆為中上程度。
二、臺中市國小中高年級音樂性社團學童在不同背景變項(年級、練習頻率)之心態與不同背景變項(性別)之基本心理需求上有部分顯著差異。
三、臺中市國小中高年級音樂性社團學童知覺成長心態與基本心理需求呈現中低度顯著正相關。
四、臺中市國小中高年級音樂性社團學童知覺成長心態對基本心理需求各構面具有中低度顯著預測效果。
最後,根據研究結果提出具體建議,以提供國小音樂教師及未來研究之參考。

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between mindset and basic psychological needs, and with demographics among third to sixth graders participating to understand the differences on these two main variables in musical group in Taichung City, Taiwan.
A questionnaire survey was conducted to the 699 elementary students in third
to sixth grades within 13 public schools selected in 111 academic year in
Taichung City. The Music Mindset Scale and Musical Group Basic Psychological Needs Scale were used as research instruments. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Hotelling's T2 test, MANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and Simple regression analysis to test the hypotheses. The results of this study were as follows:
(1)The perceived growth mindset and basic psychological needs of third to sixth graders participating musical group in Taichung City were scored as moderate to high.
(2)Demographics variables had partially significant differences on the mindset and basic psychological needs among students in the musical group.
(3)Growth mindset and basic psychological needs showed a moderate positively significant correlations among students in the musical group.
(4)Growth mindset had moderate effects significantly in predicting basic psychological needs.
Finally, specific recommendations were provided based on the research findings, aiming to serve as references for elementary school music teachers and future research endeavors.
