The case study in this thesis is a native Malaysian Chinese, who returned from studying in the United Kingdom and is a Chartered Maritime Engineer. Growing up in a small fishing village on the west coast of the Malay Peninsula, he completed his secondary and university education in Malaysia and Taiwan. He served for ten years at the Klang Port Authority, a government agency, where he had the opportunity to be involved in and participate in port expansion, development, and management projects. He then ventured into entrepreneurship by establishing his own shipping company, further expanding into related maritime engineering businesses. His business rapidly expanded and achieved further development. The purpose of this research is to explore how the leadership style of entrepreneurs can lead businesses and organizations to growth, using the Klang Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which focuses on attracting and serving business members, as a case study. The main subject of the study is the advisor of the chamber's Culture and Education Fund Committee. In-depth interviews were conducted with him, and the interview content was summarized and analyzed. Through this research, it is hoped to help individual members who may have the opportunity to assume leadership roles in any field in the future to become aware of their own personality traits, exhibit their unique characteristics, learn effective leadership methods, exert positive energy, give back to society, and realize their life values. The leadership style demonstrated by the case within the community organization aligns with Zheng Boxun's (2016) definition of 'Virtuous Leadership,' where the leader possesses and steadfastly exhibits high moral standards to educate and influence subordinates, presenting a leadership style characterized by high moral integrity. This style particularly emphasizes three virtuous leadership behaviors: 1. Leading by example, 2. Clear distinction between public and private matters, and 3. Integrity and honesty. When a leader leads by example, using virtue to lead and becoming a role model for members, the members can gradually and subtly be influenced to improve their behavior. In modern business organizations, the characteristics of virtuous leadership can be divided into seven traits: fairness and impartiality, integrity, incorruptibility, honesty and trustworthiness, responsibility, open-mindedness, and leading by example. According to the results of this study, the case indeed meets these requirements.
