This study is based on the ISO 14064-1:2018 standard and the guidelines compiled by the Ministry of Environment to explore the implementation of organizational-level greenhouse gas inventory operations in each factory of a control valve manufacturing company, and then compare the greenhouse gas emissions of each factory. Then the study conducts a low-carbon promotion work cycle Planning, using brainstorming methods among working circle members to discuss the goals and direction of carbon reduction. This study also uses an actual control valve manufacturing company as a case to demonstrate the presented research framework. The research results show that for all included categories (i.e., category 1, category 2, subcategory 4.1, and subcategory 4.3), the greenhouse gas emissions of the first factory are 237.0118 tons CO2e/year (accounting for 46.24% of the total greenhouse gas emissions). The greenhouse gas emissions of the second factory are 275.5936 tons CO2e/year (accounting for 53.76% of the total greenhouse gas emissions). Next, calculate the “greenhouse gas emission intensity”. For all included categories (i.e., category 1, category 2, subcategory 4.1, and subcategory 4.3), the greenhouse gas emission intensity of the first factory is 1.9671, and the greenhouse gas emission intensity of the second factory is 0.2691. In summary, if we look at the total greenhouse gas emissions of the entire factory, the total greenhouse gas emissions of the second factory are greater than the total greenhouse gas emissions of the first factory, and the second factory is 1.16 times that of the first factory. If we look at the total greenhouse gas emission intensity of the entire factory, the greenhouse gas emission intensity of the first factory is greater than that of the second factory, and the first factory is 7.31 times that of the second factory.
