As members of the military, it is our duty to protect the country and defend territorial sovereignty. Physical fitness has always been a crucial requirement for soldiers, forming the foundation of fighting skills. To maintain the level of fitness required for combat, it is essential to stay healthy. A soldier's physique can vary with lifestyle habits, exercise, and diet, making the establishment of a healthy lifestyle vital for military personnel. Regular routines help soldiers stay energized, good exercise habits enhance muscle strength and cardiovascular function, and a healthy diet provides the necessary nutrients to promote metabolism. These factors work together to help soldiers maintain optimal fitness, ensuring they can fully perform in combat and training, safeguarding national security and the well-being of the people. Therefore, soldiers should always pay attention to their physical management to achieve the best physical condition. However, the number of military personnel with a Body Mass Index (BMI) over the standard has been on the rise. This study explores the current situation of military personnel management regarding BMI over the standard and the issue of poor weight loss effectiveness based on the Business TRIZ. The objective is to effectively restore BMI to a normal range and achieve a healthy physique. Initially, through a combination of interviews and the work experience of senior military medical officers, researcher clearly defined the interview methods to determine the scope and characteristics of the problem. Using the Perception Mapping from the Business TRIZ, researcher analyzed the issues causing poor weight loss effectiveness, identifying key points of the problem. Then, we identified the causes to address the issue more effectively through Root Conflict Analysis (RCA+). Finally, researcher generated innovative weight loss program solutions and prioritized them to select the most suitable solution for improving weight loss effectiveness by using the Contradiction Matrix and Inventive Principles. The study resulted in three improvement plans: "Establish a Healthy Eating Community," "Create a Diet Plan," and "Healthy Eating Education," as the best solutions. These plans required the least preparation time and received high scores in cost, acceptance by soldiers, and effectiveness. The three plans are effective methods to improve weight loss outcomes for military personnel with a BMI over the standard. After implementing the three solutions, it was found that under the guidance of healthy eating education, military personnel with a BMI over the standard could share and motivate each other through the community. Additionally, using a calorie-counting app to record daily intake of calories and nutrients allowed them to monitor their calorie intake, successfully achieving weight loss. After one month, 12 officers and soldiers lost an average of 2.6 kilograms and 2.5% of their body weight, and the average BMI was reduced by 0.95 and 3%, which is a very significant effect.
