本研究針對國內角花蟾科(以下簡稱角蛙)養殖業者進行生產經濟分析,共蒐集6戶業者,以經營策略別(內銷為主與外銷為主)作為比較因子,利用曼-惠特尼U檢定與定量化SWOT分析針對臺灣角蛙養殖產業現況、獲利因素及發展瓶頸進行探討。
據經營績效分析之結果所示,不同經營策略在年度成本除種蛙培育成本及土地成本無顯著差異外,其他各項成本均有顯著差異;單位面積成本中除了種蛙培育成本、水電成本及土地成本無顯著差異外,其他各項成本均有顯著差異。獲利部分,不同經營策略在年度總收益、淨收益與單位面積總收益、淨收益皆有顯著差異。內銷為主的業者每年平均投入約364,360元,總收益平均約1,055,880元,淨收益平均約682,640元;外銷為主的業者每年平均投入約3,005,493元,總收益平均約11,294,233元,淨收益平均約8,402,204元。外銷為主的業者獲利能力高於內銷為主的業者。定量化SWOT分析結果顯示,外銷為主的業者分別坐落於優勢與機會的第一象限、劣勢與機會的第二象限及優勢與威脅的第四象限;內銷為主的業者皆坐落於劣勢與威脅的第三象限。
外銷為主的經營模式所需成本比起內銷為主的經營模式雖較高,但相對因外銷之較高單價及大量訂單,所帶來的獲利比內銷為主的經營模式高。SWOT分析結果表示,優勢方面為繁殖技術優良、品項眾多及疾病防治意識佳;劣勢則為行銷手段消極和無相關合格證明。機會部分為外銷市場需求量上升,需培育新品項及特色推廣,提升競爭力;威脅則需注意國內市場惡化、他國業者競爭以及各國貿易政策限制。建議可透過產官學合作推廣角蛙飼養風潮、提升培育技術,對業者進行各項合格證明申請之教育培訓,強化專業程度,並積極拓展國際市場,方能促進產業發展。

This study conducts an economic survey of Taiwan's horned frog (Ceratophryidae, hereafter referred to as "horned frog") breeders. Data were collected from six breeders, comparing operational strategies focused on domestic sales versus those focused on exports. The research utilizes the Mann-Whitney U test and a quantitative SWOT analysis to explore the current status, profitability factors, and development bottlenecks of Taiwan's horned frog breeding industry.
According to the operational performance analysis results, there were significant differences in annual costs, except for breeding stock and land costs, between different operational strategies. In terms of unit area costs, there were significant differences in costs except for breeding stock, utilities, and land costs. Regarding profitability, there were significant differences in annual total revenue, net revenue, unit area total revenue, and net revenue between different operational strategies. Domestic-focused breeders invested an average of approximately NT$364,360 annually, with an average total revenue of NT$1,055,880 and an average net revenue of NT$682,640. Export-focused breeders invested an average of approximately NT$3,005,493 annually, with an average total revenue of NT$11,294,233 and an average net revenue of NT$8,402,204. Export-focused breeders demonstrated higher profitability compared to domestic-focused breeders. The quantitative SWOT analysis results show that export-focused breeders are located in the first quadrant (strengths and opportunities), second quadrant (weaknesses and opportunities), and fourth quadrant (strengths and threats), while domestically-focused breeders are in the third quadrant (weaknesses and threats).
Although the export-oriented business model incurs higher costs compared to the domestic-oriented model, it yields higher profits due to higher prices and larger order volumes in export markets. The SWOT analysis results indicate that strengths include excellent breeding technology, diverse species, and good disease prevention awareness. Weaknesses include passive marketing strategies and a lack of relevant certifications. Opportunities lie in the rising demand in export markets, requiring the development of new species and unique promotional strategies to enhance competitiveness. Threats include the deterioration of the domestic market, competition from breeders in other countries, and trade policy restrictions. It is recommended to promote horned frog breeding trends through industry-government-academia collaboration, enhance breeding technology, educate breeders on certification applications, and actively expand international markets to ensure the sustainable development of the industry.
