摘要


本研究的主要目的在嘗試以新興的複雜科學觀點探討職場女性地位的發展,藉以回答為何職場女性地位呈現非線性的發展,並解釋職場女性地位的質變現象,女性進入職場與擔任主管不同的成長軌跡,以及一般統計分析的有限預測能力。本研究的資料來源是行政院主計處所編製的人力資源調查以及國民經濟統計,起訖時間為1978年至2003年。在研究方法上,以定性分析的方式發展出職場女性地位集體結構和耗散結構的類比關係以作為本研究的基礎架構;其次採用多元量化的方式,包括幾何型態的歸返映射圖以及數學取向的李雅普諾夫指數二種有別於一般統計的方法以佐證本研究之假設。研究結果包括:在微觀層次,以回饋循環和制度效果的概念說明影響職場女性地位因素間的自組織作用和所呈現的非線性漲落現象;在宏觀層次,以控制因子、系統狀態、吸引子、臨界性及正負回饋的概念說明職場女性地位的轉型過程;並且以初始值敏感依賴和決定性混沌的概念說明一般線性分析方法有限的預測力其實根源於社會系統發展的本質。此外,進一步討論雖然人類無法對未來的發展有效控制,但仍可以自由的選擇和學習在何時及如何介入系統,進而引導系統朝向預期的方向發展。
