本研究用2007年「人力運用調查」,來探討製造業男、女性的潛在薪資與損付薪程度。實證結果發現受教育年數、職務階級、工作職級和年資對男、女性有正向顯著的關係。年齡和薪資對男性呈現正向顯著,對女性則是正向不顯著。年齡平方和居住地區對男、女性皆有負向顯著的影響;潛在工作經驗對男性有負向顯著,女性則是正向不顯著的關係。婚姻狀態對男性具有正向顯著,女性有負向不顯著的關係;此外,是否為青壯年對男、女性皆具有負向不顯著的影響。製造業中損付薪資程度最大的細項,男性為木竹製品製造業,而女性為基本金屬製造業。最後,製造業男性的損付薪資程度約為9.1%,而女性的損付薪資程度為10.1%,女性的損付薪資程度大於男性。
