國人補習文化盛行,根據2004年「台灣教育長期追蹤資料庫」所公佈的一份「學生課後輔導、補習與家教情況調查」顯示,國高中生參加課業輔導或家教補習的學生比率高達七成、每週平均約4小時。據瞭解補習班教室是相當擁擠,尤其有升學名師的大班式教學,另一方面根據文獻報告室內二氧化碳濃度過高,會導致學習效率降低,然而目前大多數的補習班,仍然沒有採取空氣淨化的措施,所以本研究探討學生及家長對補習班之重要性之認知。
本研究以補習班學生及家長為研究對象,先以專家訪談進行問卷設計,再以通過信度、效度檢驗後的自編問卷進行補習班室內空氣品質之認知調查,然後再使用統計分析方法解析學生、家長對於補習班室內空氣品質的知識與態度。
本研究共回收有效問卷626份,得到結論如下:
1. 媒體的重要性,家長比較有長時間接觸新聞媒體,且研究調查結果,家長對於室內空氣品質的
知識及認知上比學生表現的好。
2. 有過敏或呼吸道疾病者表現上的矛盾,有過敏或呼吸道疾病的受試者在環境認知的得分表現較
好,但是在環境知識的得分表現卻比沒有過敏或呼吸道疾病的受試者來的低,所以缺乏正確的
知識可能也就是這些人罹患呼吸道疾病的原因。
3. 教育訓練的效能不佳,大多數的受試者在室內空氣污染的訊息來源以新聞媒體最多,但教育訓
練竟然是訊息來源為最低,因此學校方面的教育訓練內容則有待改進。
4. 必須正視二氧化碳的影響,學生在補習班的自覺問題以精神或注意力不集中及嗜睡為最多,因
此必須加強室內二氧化碳濃度的改善。
5. 室內空氣品質會影響受試者選擇補習班,受試者大部分還是以師資陣容為優先,其次就是考慮
室內空氣品質,可見室內空氣品質的重要性不可疏忽,因此補習班做室內空氣品質改善,即
使,而增加補習收費,受試者的意願也不會降低。
In a Crowded Classroom learning are highly popular in this country. According to “Taiwan Education Panel Survey (TEPS)” published in 2004, 70% of junior and senior high school students participate in complement academic work, spending an average of four hours per week after school. The authors’ understanding is that classroom is very crowded, especially the big classes with sought after teachers. On the other hand, research shows that carbon dioxide concentration in the classroom is very high, resulting in lowered learning efficacy. However, most crowded classrooms still do not implement air purification measures. Therefore, this study aims to understand students’ and parents’ awareness on the importance of crowded classroom air quality.
The subjects for this study are the students and parents of crowded classrooms. Experts were consulted to design reliable and effective surveys on crowded classroom indoor air quality awareness, which were distributed to the subjects. Statistic methods were then used to analyze the subjects’ awareness and attitude towards crowded classroom indoor air quality.
The 626 returned survey summed up to the following conclusions:
1.The importance of media: parents have more exposure to news media. The study
found that parents have better knowledge and awareness of indoor air quality.
2.Contradictory results on subjects with allergies or respiratory illness:
subjects with allergies or respiratory illness have better environmental
awareness but worse environmental knowledge. Thus, the lack of correct
knowledge may be part of the reason these subjects have
3.Poor educational training: most subjects received information on indoor air
pollution from news media and little from educational sources. Therefore,
educational training in schools needs to be improved.
4.Must address the impact of carbon dioxide: the conscious issues identified by
the students are mostly lack of concentration and lethargy. Therefore, indoor
carbon dioxide concentration needs to be improved.
5.Indoor air quality does affect subjects’ decision in choosing crowded
classrooms: subjects usually first consider faculty quality, then consider
indoor air quality. It is clear that the importance of indoor air quality
cannot be overlooked. Therefore, even if crowded classrooms increase tuition
to better indoor air quality, subjects would still be willing to enroll.
