母女關係，對女人而言，是很重要的課題。與自己的母親或女兒的關係，反映著女人的自我和性別角色認同，以及女人在社會文化中的位置。
本文的焦點在母女關係的複雜性，和其不斷擺蕩的多變特質上。內容以思考的自傳為主，嘗試表現出在關係和故事情節敘說中的多重聲音。
在敘述的過程中，觀看每女關係的視角一再地移動。從家庭內的三角關係，到以家族關係圖描繪整個家族的歷史、社會文化的作用，理論提及的範圍越來越大。同時，故事的再建構和新生的情感彼此影響，使得母女間的關係，被述說關係本身這個行動所改變。
在重述的不同階段，母女關係被賦予的意義就完全不同，甚至相互矛盾。最重要的是，母女雙方尊重彼此的主體性，並且接受在父權社會中生活不可避免的挫折和敵意。

Mother-daughter relationship is a main issue in women''s lives. Relationships with our own mother or daughter can reflect our selves, gender identities, and female status in the society.
The focus of this thesis is the complicated and changeful characteristic of mother-daughter relationship. Writing intellectual autobiography, I try to express polyphony in human relationships and plots describing.
In the process of narrating, the viewpoints of comprehending mother-daughter relationship had been moved constantly. The range that theories considered extended more and more, from triangle-relationship in a typical core family, to the whole clan''s original history and some role-play rules effected by social culture. Therefore, genogram was presented to show the overall picture. Meanwhile, the reconstruction of stories interacted with the new emotions, and that made retelling this relationship became an action which can actually change it in real life.
At different stages of describing mother-daughter plots, mother-daughter relationship means quite different to us, even contradictory. It is important to respect each other''s subjectivity, and receive all frustrations and hostility hard to avoid in relationships since both mothers and daughters live in a patriarchy world.
