桑寄生(Taxillus parasitica)為桑寄生科(Loranthaceae)半寄生灌木植物,傳統用於安胎、固血、治痢疾、驅風濕。將桑寄生乙酸乙酯層粗抽物經藥效篩選後,於毒殺人類肺癌細胞株A549之測定試驗中發現濃度在30 μg/mL下,毒殺效果為36.7%;正丁醇層經藥效篩選後得知在濃度10 μg/mL具有抑制流感病毒致MDCK細胞死亡的能力。因此對桑寄生之化學成分與生物活性做詳細研究。
將桑寄生甲醇粗抽物以乙酸乙酯、正丁醇和水進行多次分配萃取後,共分得三層。各分配層進行管柱層析和純化後,共得45個化合物,其中36個經光譜分析確認化學結構包含 quercetin (1)、 quercetin-3-O-α-L-rhamnoside (2)、quercetin-7-O-α-L-arabinoside (3)、quercetin-3-O-α-L-arabinoside (4)、quercetin-3-O-β-D-glucoside (5)、kaempferol (6)、kaempferol-7-O-α-L-arabinoside (7)、apigenin (8)、chrysoeriol (9)、genkwanin (10)、rutin (11)、(+)-catechin (12)、(-)- epicatechin-3-O-gallate (13)、(2S)-narigenin (14)、lupeol (15)、β-amyrin acetate (16)、β-amyrin palmitate (17)、oleanolic acid (18)、squalene (19)、aurantiamide acetate (20)、4-hydroxybenzoic acid (21)、4-hydroxybenzaldehyde (22)、protocatechuic acid (23)、gallic acid (24)、vanillic acid (25)、benzoic acid (26)、p-cresol (27)、methyl pheophorbide-a (28)、methyl-21-hydroxy-(21R)-pheophorbide-b (29)、uracil (30)、D-chiro-
inositol (31)、sucrose (32)、L-tyrosine (33)、uridine (34)、α, β-D-glucose mixtures (35)與glycerol (36),以黃酮類為主要成分,而抗流感的活性試驗尚在進行中。

Taxillus parasitica is one kind of specific Loranthaceae and it has commonly been used as a curative from number of ailments such as hemorrhage, gout, epilepsy, arthritis, and rheumatism. In the cytotoxcity assay, the results showed 36.7% cytotoxicity against A549 at 30 μg/mL EtOAc extract of T. parasitica. The anti- influenza virus test indicated that the n-BuOH soluble layer had ability to protect cells against influenza virus at 10 μg/mL. Therefore, we are interested in the bioactive principles of T. parasitica.
The MeOH extract was divided into fractions soluble in CHCl3, n-BuOH and H2O by liquid-liquid partitioning process. Forty-five compounds were isolated from the crude extract of T. parasitica. Their structures of thirty-six compounds were determined by spectral analysis, including quercetin (1), quercetin-3-O-α-L-rhamnoside (2), quercetin-7-O-
α-L-arabinoside (3), quercetin-3-O-α-L-arabinoside (4), quercetin-3-O-β-D-glucoside (5), kaempferol (6), kaempferol-7-O-α-L-arabinoside (7), apigenin (8), chrysoeriol (9), genkwanin (10), rutin (11), (+)-catechin (12), (-)-epicatechin-3-O-gallate (13), (2S)-narigenin (14), lupeol (15), β-amyrin acetate (16), β-amyrin palmitate (17), oleanolic acid (18), squalene (19), aurantiamide acetate (20), 4-hydroxybenzoic acid (21), 4-hydroxybenzaldehyde (22), protocatechuic acid (23), gallic acid (24), vanillic acid (25), benzoic acid (26), p-cresol (27), methyl pheophorbide-a (28), methyl-21-hydroxy-(21R)-pheophorbide-b (29), uracil (30), D-chiro-inositol (31), sucrose (32), L-tyrosine (33), uridine (34), α, β-D-glucose mixtures (35) and glycerol (36). The major components are flavonoids and the anti- influenza virus assay of pure components is under proceeding.
